• Born the 13th of September 1946 in Alba Iulia, Romania.

• Graduate of the Nicolae Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts, specialization in Painting under professor Alexandru Ciucurencu

• From 1974 onwards he participates to youth, municipal and republican painting exhibitions. Throughout his career, he has participated in more than 200 group, international, personal and Prolog Group exhibitions

• Member of the Plastic Artists Union of Romania since 1977

• Co-founder of the group Prolog together with Paul Gherasim, Constantin Flondor, Cristian Paraschiv and Mihai Sarbulescu, in 1985

• From 1990 to 2014 he was a PhD Professor at the Academy of Fine Arts of Bucharest
